Video footage that’s got everyone talking shows a man being punched and kicked near the HSBC bank entrance by another man and woman. As tension rose, the victim fell to the ground, and the male aggressor tried kicking him in the head while the female took his shoe. She then hurled it back at him as they exchanged heated words.
Gwent Police are on the case, currently reviewing CCTV to identify the attackers. Superintendent Esyr Jones emphasised the ongoing commitment to enhancing city centre safety, adding that any offences will be addressed decisively—even after the fact.
