🎉 Are traditional kids’ party games becoming a thing of the past? A recent survey of 1,000 parents and kids aged 6-11 suggests they might be! Games like wink murder, blind man’s buff, and sleeping lions are now dubbed ‘cringe’ by the younger crowd. Only 16% of kids have ever played wink murder! 😲

Instead, the top ways kids are having fun these days include bouncy castles and inflatable games (63%), being entertained by performers (55%), and watching films (50%). Plus, some parties are even levelling up with video game competitions like Minecraft! 🎮

The study, backed by Capri-Sun, also brings good news for nostalgic parents. Classic party games like hide and seek, pass the parcel, and musical chairs are still going strong. A whopping 73% of kids still enjoy a good game of hide and seek! 🙌
Capri-Sun is stepping in to save the day with their 20-pouch party pack featuring 14 interactive games, helping parents sprinkle some simple fun into parties.
The secret? Don’t overthink it! As one spokesperson notes, “Kids remember how something made them feel, not the tiny details.” So while planning that next birthday bash, keep it fun, simple, and engaging. 🎈
Planning a party can be a bit stressful – 23% of parents worry about costs, and 7 out of 10 are on the hunt for games that everyone will enjoy, hit low budgets, and are easy to set up.
But don’t fret – kids still enjoy both traditional and modern party fun. Whether it’s a lively bout of hide and seek or a competitive video game showdown, the goal remains the same: have a blast! 🥳
