š The Spirit of Giving This Christmas š

Christmas can sometimes be a tough time, especially for those without a permanent place to call home. But thanks to homeless charity The Wallich, many will find some warmth, a festive meal, and a little bit of comfort this year. š ā¤ļø

Right now, an estimated 10,000 people are experiencing homelessness in Wales. It’s heartwarming to see communities coming together to bring joy and hope. The Wallich’s amazing outreach teams are out and about in Swansea, Bridgend, and Cardiff on Christmas Day, brightening the day for those sleeping rough. š
Noah King, who himself knows what it means to overcome tough times, will be spending Christmas at The Wallich’s Cardiff hostel. He explains, “Iād rather be here on Christmas Day to be helpful. It can be a lonely time of year, so people need extra support to make it as special as possible.”
Meanwhile, over in Swansea, Brett Shadbolt will also be dedicating his Christmas Day to working with residents at The Wallich’s hostel. Despite the challenges, he’s excited about the day. “I love working for The Wallich. We have the privilege of seeing the full spectrum of emotions and characteristics of our residents,” he says.
Together, Noah, Brett, and the whole Wallich team will ensure over 400 people across Wales enjoy a hearty Christmas dinner and some festive fun. šāØ
