Llanelli residents can finally breathe a sigh of relief! For weeks, swarms of pesky flies have turned life upside down, making it impossible for locals to enjoy simple things like cooking or eating meals without landing on their food. Windows and doors stayed shut even in the blazing heat, leaving everyone fed up and frustrated. But, after some thorough detective work, the source of this nuisance has been revealed – AMG Resources Limited. π

Natural Resources Wales and Carmarthenshire County Council teamed up to investigate the fly invasion in Glanymor ward. Their findings pointed to the site managed by AMG Resources as the culprit. Good news: an enforcement notice has been slapped on the operators, requiring them to clean up their act swiftly, with just 21 days to sort this out. π€

David Jones, one of the local residents, expressed his frustration, saying living in their own homes felt like being imprisoned, constantly battling flies with sticky papers everywhere. He emphasised that as tax-paying citizens, they donβt deserve to live this way.
The community is hopeful for a swift and lasting fix. Authorities are keeping a close watch to ensure AMG Resources follows through on this cleanup. π―
Letβs hope this nightmare ends soon, and Llanelli residents can once again enjoy their homes without the buzz and bother of flies! π π
