🎶 DJ Night Turns Chaotic at Cornwall Pub! 🎶
A night out at the White Hart Hotel in Launceston took a shocking turn when a group allegedly launched unprovoked attacks on pub-goers. The incident unfolded around 10:30 pm last Friday, 4 April, when the gang tried to force their way in during a popular DJ event.
A brave staff member recalls thwarting their entrance: “We stopped them at 10pm, but then one started swinging a belt at people!” The back door now bears the scars of their attempted break-in.
Eyewitnesses report the group, about five strong, had been causing trouble for weeks, often targeting smokers outside without any warning or reason. Several patrons left with minor facial injuries after the unsavoury encounter.
The evening escalated to the point where armed police were called to the scene. By the time officers arrived, the suspects had vanished, but the investigation is ongoing. There are worries the gang might return, as they were spotted again on Saturday morning.
Stay tuned for updates, and always be alert while enjoying your night out! 🌟
