Heartbreaking news from Tenby: a six-month-old baby, Sophia Kelemen, tragically lost her life during a family holiday in Pembrokeshire. On January 2, 2024, her pram was struck by a car in a multi-storey car park, leading to a devastating outcome. Sophia was airlifted to Cardiff’s University Hospital of Wales, but sadly, she couldn’t be saved.

The driver involved, 35-year-old Flaviu Naghi, faces serious charges. He’s accused of causing death by dangerous driving and alternatively, by careless driving under the influence of a controlled drug. Naghi, who denies the charges, will have his day in court. His provisional trial date is set for March 1 next year at Swansea Crown Court.
