**Tragic End in Just 20 Seconds: Ian Watkins’ Final Moments Unfold in Court**

Heartbreaking details have emerged from the courtroom regarding the violent end of Ian Watkins, former frontman of the band Lostprophets, who was killed while serving time in HMP Wakefield. The court was shown CCTV footage capturing the fleeting 20-second attack that claimed his life.
Prosecutors revealed that Watkins, known for his heinous crimes, was attacked with a makeshift weapon. Rico Gedel, 25, alleged to have entered his cell, inflicted three fatal stab wounds before discreetly leaving. Accomplice Samuel Dodsworth, 43, was reportedly keeping watch outside.

The chilling evidence showed Gedel passing the weapon to Dodsworth, who hid it in a nearby bin. Moments later, Watkins stumbled out of his cell, gripping his bleeding neck. Despite immediate medical intervention, he tragically succumbed to his injuries around 10:14 am.
In a shocking twist, Gedel allegedly expressed a desire for notoriety, telling a prison officer that his actions could make him “famous.” The trial continues, with both accused denying the charges.
