🎉 Cardiff City is back in the Championship! 🎉
But with promotion comes big decisions. As the summer transfer window approaches, the club faces choices that could shape their future. Here’s a quick look at what’s brewing!
🔐 **Between the Sticks:** Nathan Trott has shone and could be ours for £1.5m. Talks are looking good. Meanwhile, Harry Tyrer is pushing for the No.1 spot after finally debuting, and a loan seems likely for Matthew Turner to get more game time.
🛡️ **Defence Decisions:** Perry Ng needs a new contract, and both Ronan Kpakio and young star Dylan Lawlor are keepers. Calum Chambers’ wages are a concern while Gabriel Osho has had a rocky start. We’re expecting Calum Scanlon to move on and Joel Bagan deserves to stay after a stellar season!
🎯 **Midfield Moves:** Ryan Wintle’s future is uncertain despite being central to Cardiff’s push; might he accept a reduced role? Eli King needs momentum after injury, while Joel Colwill is ready for a Championship challenge. Alex Robertson is emerging as a key player, whereas David Turnbull’s fit remains a question. Rubin Colwill, our vice-captain, continues to be crucial.
🦅 **Winger Watch:** Cian Ashford’s versatility is valued; Ollie Tanner needs more goals; and Isaak Davies needs to nail a role. Chris Willock brings quality, and Omari Kellyman’s loan return would be a boost.
⚽ **Upfront Dynamics:** Yousef Salech, our top scorer, is ready for Championship action. Callum Robinson faced challenges this year, and a summer exit wouldn’t be surprising.
🔄 **Peripheral Players:** Roko Simic and Kion Etete might be on the way out. Loans could benefit young talents like Luey Giles and Dakarai Mafico. Jesper Daland and others might find new homes.
