⚽️ Newport County Secures Crucial Win in League Two Survival Fight! ⚽️
A massive shoutout to Bobby Kamwa for his moment of magic that helped Newport County grab a vital three points in their quest to stay in League Two. In a game where few chances were created, Kamwa’s stunning goal in the 68th minute made all the difference, pushing the Exiles to 22nd in the table, just two points clear of Barrow.
For most of the match, both teams struggled to find momentum. The first half saw only a handful of opportunities, with Kamwa narrowly missing the target before he finally found his moment to shine in the second half. After some excellent hold-up play by James Crole, Kamwa picked up the ball on the edge of the box and sent a curling shot into the top corner – an absolute beauty and a real game-changer! 🙌
The victory was crucial as County continues to battle against relegation pressure. The first half felt like a stalemate with little action, but the energy shifted after the break. While Newport’s keeper Jordan Wright pulled off a vital save and defended stoutly against Shrewsbury’s few attempts, it was Kamwa’s moment of individual brilliance that stole the show.
Let this win be a spark for Newport County as they push forward in the fight to remain in League Two. The fans’ support was legendary, with over 4,800 turning up to cheer on the team. Let’s keep up the momentum and back the boys through thick and thin. Come on, County! 💪🔶🔷
