🚗💨 Exciting news for eco-friendly travel in South Wales! A brand-new hydrogen refuelling station has been given the green light near Neath Port Talbot, close to Swansea. Set to be known as the Swansea Hydrogen Refuelling Station, this facility will be capable of refuelling up to 38 vehicles a day!

📍 Located conveniently near the Amazon distribution centre in Crymlyn Burrows, this station will include everything needed to refuel HGVs, buses, and cars. While the facility itself won’t produce hydrogen, it will store and dispense the gas, supplied from various sources like the University of South Wales Hydrogen Centre.

🏗️ The project is expected to support large-scale transportation trials aimed at cutting emissions in both the bus and haulage sectors. A big step forward for greener transport options, right in the heart of the Fabian Way Innovation Corridor!
🌿 This development is the brainchild of renewable energy innovators, Marubeni Europower, who are already known for plans to build a hydrogen production facility in Bridgend.
📅 With local council approval in hand, construction is expected to begin within five years. What do you think? Are you ready for a hydrogen-powered future? 🌟
