A 24-year-old from Cardiff has been caught dealing heroin and cocaine, using his phone to send mass texts to clients. Jamal Hourrieh, known to his customers as “Kik,” was busted after police examined his mobile, uncovering messages where he described himself as “active” and telling his customers to “Ring to get looked after.” He even affectionately referred to his contacts as “my Gs.”

Hourrieh was already on the radar with a past conviction for similar offences. Although he initially stayed silent when interviewed, the evidence was loud and clear. Sentencing at Cardiff Crown Court included a telling-off about how these dangerous dealings harm not only those he sells to but also his own prospects in life.

Despite these serious charges, his legal team argued he’d tried to turn a new leaf after leaving prison, having lost a family member at 15 and falling into the wrong crowd. But Judge Paul Hobson wasn’t swayed, highlighting the significant harm and financial motivations behind Hourrieh’s operation.
This latest charge against Hourrieh resulted in a three-year prison sentence, marking yet another chapter in his criminal journey. Stay safe out there!
