🗣️ Snooker Drama Alert! 🎱

Tensions flared on the BBC when snooker legends John Parrott and Stephen Hendry found themselves at odds during the World Snooker Championship semi-final. The match between John Higgins and Shaun Murphy was a nail-biter, tied at 4-4 after the first session. Higgins had just 14 hours between his last win and this face-off, showing signs of fatigue.

Parrott suggested both players needed a solid rest to perform better, commenting on their “hangover” from previous matches. “A good night’s sleep will do wonders,” he noted, pointing out the unusual mistakes made early on in the frames.
Hendry, however, wasn’t having it. With a shrug, he questioned how anyone could not be revved up for such an occasion. “How can you not come out and be buzzing?” he asked, challenging Parrott’s perspective.
Parrott stood his ground, arguing that performing consistently at peak levels is a challenge. “The last session against Zhao was top-notch, and it’s hard to replicate that immediately,” Parrott explained.
Hendry wrapped up his views, emphasising the quintessential challenge of the World Championship: “That’s why it’s the world’s biggest test.”
