🎉 Rugby fans, get ready for an epic showdown! 🎉 Wales is set to face the Barbarians at Twickenham this Saturday, but why not Cardiff, you ask? 🤔 Well, Twickenham is hosting this thrilling match as the Barbarians’ home fixture. Meanwhile, the Principality Stadium is rocking to the sounds of Metallica, following a buzz-worthy concert by Take That earlier this month! 🎸
🏉 For Wales, this match marks the start of an exciting summer ahead of their inaugural Nations Championship launch against Fiji next month. With a mix of seasoned players and fresh faces, Wales is ready to take on the world-famous Baa Baas. Notably, captain Dewi Lake is leading a revamped lineup featuring Jac Morgan, returning to the fray, and some debutants like Teddy Williams, coming back strong after an injury.
🔄 The Barbarians, not to be outdone, have unveiled a star-studded lineup. Keep an eye out for a familiar face: Welsh legend George North dashing off the bench and Dragons hooker Elliot Dee starting strong in the front row!
👩🎤 The excitement doubles with Wales Women joining the rugby action with another match against the Barbarians. With five uncapped players ready to make their mark, including wings Amy Williams and Kelsey Webster, the future looks blindingly bright. Captain Alex Callender will lead a youthful side brimming with talent and energy.
Both Welsh teams are looking to dazzle the fans and bring their A-game. It’s a rugby fest you won’t want to miss, so mark your calendars and cheer on our teams this Saturday! 🏆🌟
