Heartbreaking Discovery in Cardiff: Meet Mable, the Greyhound Who Needs Our Help!

Poor Mable, a greyhound described as a “bag of bones,” was found wandering in the Cardiff area of Cefn Mably and Michaelston-y-Fedw. It’s believed she had been abandoned and she was in an alarming state, severely underweight and in need of immediate help. Fortunately, she was swiftly taken to the PDSA where she got the urgent care she needed. She’s now being fostered by Cardiff Dogs Home, and is on the road to recovery, having already gained 3.5kg!

Inspector Gemma Black from RSPCA Cymru has been working tirelessly, following leads to uncover how Mable ended up in such dire conditions. They are calling for anyone with any information to come forward. If you know anything about Mable’s past or who might have owned her, please reach out to the RSPCA with incident number 1682725.
While Mable is on the mend, her story is a stark reminder of the rising cases of animal abandonment. RSPCA Cymru has highlighted that reports of such incidents might hit a six-year high. In response, they’ve launched The Big Give Back to Animals this winter to support their vital work in aiding our furry friends.
Let’s rally together to support organisations like the RSPCA who provide endless love and care for animals like Mable! If you can, consider donating or getting involved to help make a difference. Share Mable’s story to spread awareness and keep our animals safe. Remember, our little friends give us so much joy with so little in return. Let’s be their voice! 📣❤️🐾
To anyone with a lead on Mable or who wishes to help, reach out to RSPCA on 0300 123 8018. Let’s ensure no animal is left in the cold this holiday season! 🌟🐶
