Disturbing Footage Captures Machete-Wielding Man Assaulting Unconscious Victim on Camera

In a shocking case, Tristan Williams, a 22-year-old from Swansea, has been sentenced to 13 years after being found guilty of raping an unresponsive woman. Armed with a machete, Williams filmed the assault, and the victim only discovered the horrifying act through a recording. Despite denying any guilt and claiming the encounter was consensual, Williams was convicted at Swansea Crown Court for two counts of rape, voyeurism, and battery.

The court heard from the victim, who expressed the deep trauma and fear she continues to face, describing her life as being “like a prisoner in her own home”. She revealed that she constantly relives the incident, haunted by the existence of the video. Williams had two prior convictions and was under a community order when he committed these heinous acts.

The judge described Williams as a dangerous offender, noting his lack of remorse and his disturbing attempt to use the machete as a prop to “look cool”. As part of his sentence, Williams will serve 10 years in custody, followed by a three-year licence period. He will remain on the sex offenders’ register for life.
