🏉 Exciting Rugby Update! 🏆

Some thrilling rugby events this weekend! First up, Louis Rees-Zammit was set to play full-back for Bristol Bears against Pau but was pulled out last minute due to a calf issue! Coach Pat Lam made the call just two hours before the game, replacing him with Benjamin Elizalde. Earlier, Louis scored the decisive try against Scarlets, but safety first is the name of the game!

🎉 Big news down at Rodney Parade as the Dragons finally broke their winless streak with a gripping 23-21 victory over Lyon. Fans were treated to emotional scenes, with players huddling on the pitch and fireworks lighting up the sky. Aaron Wainwright summed it up perfectly: “Probably relief…to grind that out at the end shows the determination and the grit we have in this group.”
And how about Cardiff’s nail-biting win over Ulster? Coach Corniel van Zyl still can’t believe they clinched it with Callum Sheedy’s ice-cool last-second penalty. The boys showed sheer grit to fight back from a 14-point deficit and steal the win. Can we just call them comeback kings?
🏏 Meanwhile, Harlequins dazzled at The Stoop, thrashing Bayonne 68-14! Marcus Smith worked his magic with nine conversions and orchestrated the attack with pinpoint precision. Quins ran riot with tries from Will Porter, Sam Riley, and Kieran Treadwell, whilst the visiting Bayonne side struggled to keep up.
A rollercoaster weekend full of surprise twists, epic comebacks, and a lot to celebrate for the teams! Which match had you on the edge of your seat? Let us know in the comments! 👇 #RugbyUpdates #WeekendRoundup #RugbyFansUnite 🏉🔥
