🚨 Dramatic scenes in Brecon! 🚨 During the fierce Storm Bram, a chimney came crashing down from the old Boar’s Head Pub, now a popular Indian restaurant, Brecon Tandoori. This shocking incident unfolded around 3pm between Ship Street and St Michael Street as gusts of up to 70mph swept through the area. Luckily, no one was hurt in the mishap! 🙏

Local resident Geoffrey Waldron was nearby when he heard the thunderous noise behind him. “I was just walking by when the chimney collapsed,” he said. With quick thinking, Geoffrey snapped a photo before emergency services swooped in. 📸
Both Dyfed-Powys Police and the fire service were on the scene, making sure everyone was safe and securing the area. The road was temporarily closed to ensure public safety. Hats off to our local emergency teams for their swift response in the face of nature’s surprise! 👏

Stay safe, everyone, and let’s hope for calmer weather soon. 🌧️ Stay connected for more updates! #Brecon #StormBram #StaySafe
