🚨 Dramatic Rescue in Swansea! 🚨
Last night, a major rescue operation unfolded near Swansea’s West Pier. Coastguard teams from Mumbles and Porthcawl, along with the Mumbles RNLI lifeboat, sprang into action after receiving reports of a person in the water around 8pm.
Thanks to the swift response, the casualty was safely brought ashore by the lifeboat crew and received immediate care from the Welsh Ambulance Service. Hats off to our brave coastguard teams for their incredible work!
This isn’t the first call-out for the Port Talbot Coastguard recently; last Saturday they also rushed to assist a wing foiler at Aberavon Beach, who fortunately managed to get to safety on their own. Remember, if you’re ever in trouble on the coast, dial 999 and ask for the coastguard.
