🚨 Major Alert for Travellers! 🚨
Chaos hit the skies over Dubai this morning as a drone strike set a fuel tank ablaze near the airport, forcing a temporary shutdown. Emirates has been left scrambling, cancelling several flights and leaving passengers uncertain about their travel plans.
Officials have been working tirelessly to contain the blaze and ensure everyone’s safety. As of now, flights are set to resume, but many scheduled for today are already off the board. Travellers, double-check your flight status before heading to the airport!
This disruption comes amid escalating Middle Eastern tensions, which started with joint US-Israeli strikes on Iran. The situation has significantly impacted air travel and oil movement in the region.
Emirates has issued a statement advising customers of cancellations and providing options for rebooking within 72 hours of their original departure date. Stay tuned for updates as the airline continues to assess and manage the situation.
The Dubai Media Office confirms that limited flights are back on track, so fingers crossed for smoother skies ahead! 🛫✨
