Easter Sunday saw a bustling scene at Pen y Fan as sun-seekers flocked to enjoy the stunning views over south Wales’ highest peak! With glorious sunshine lighting up the Brecon Beacons, car parks were overwhelmed, leaving many to park along the grass verges. 🌞🚗

Our photographer captured the lively atmosphere as hundreds made their way up the 886m summit, accompanied by their furry friends for an unforgettable walk. Staff managed the busy car parks, while an ice cream van served up refreshing treats to cheerful hikers.

The Met Office predicts more brilliant weather over the next few days, with potential for some very warm sunshine by Tuesday and Wednesday. However, if you’re planning a trip, stay updated on the forecast for Thursday, as a rain band might bring cooler, changeable conditions later in the week.
Monday might pose some challenges with a chance of poor visibility and tricky route-finding on the mountain. Foggy conditions could cause visibility to drop significantly, requiring keen navigational skills to safely enjoy the outing.
So, whether you’re planning a mid-week adventure or just want to bask in the good weather, Pen y Fan promises an extraordinary experience—just don’t forget those navigational skills! 🏞️⛰️
