**Shocking Classroom Incident: Teacher Accused Student of Attack**
In a deeply unsettling incident, a secondary school teacher from Milford Haven is sharing her harrowing experience after surviving a classroom attack. Vicki Williams, the history teacher at the school, faced a terrifying ordeal when a 15-year-old allegedly attacked her with a knife. During the trial, Mrs Williams recounted the moment she thought she might not survive, describing the chilling look of ‘pure hatred’ in the boy’s eyes.
The teenager, who cannot be named due to legal reasons, is on trial at Swansea Crown Court, facing charges of attempted murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, and unlawful wounding. Despite the serious allegations, the boy denies all charges. Mrs Williams explained that she was hit so forcefully during the altercation at the end of the school day that she fell back into her chair. Alone in the room, she fought back in a “violent struggle” and eventually managed to take the knife from the teenager, but not before suffering injuries to her head, hands, and back.
Defence barrister Matthew Roberts suggested the boy had a vacant look, which Mrs Williams refuted, insisting it was a look of sheer animosity. Having taught the boy for years without incident, Mrs Williams was shocked by the sudden violence.
Prosecutors are arguing that this was a calculated and deliberate attack. In contrast, the defence maintains that the injuries were accidental, happening when the boy hesitated to hand over the knife. The trial is ongoing, with the next session set for Wednesday.
