🚨In a shocking turn of events, a teacher has been booted from the profession after crossing major boundaries with her students. Kathryn Matthews, who taught at The Westleigh School in Wigan, allegedly sparked inappropriate discussions about sex toys and orgasms during class. The conversations came to light when pupils mentioned them to another staff member, prompting a full-blown investigation.

Despite denying the claims, the Teaching Regulation Authority found Ms Matthews’ conduct to be seriously unprofessional. Testimonies revealed she’d talked about intimate topics like anal sex and masturbation in an English lesson. Ms Matthews, who started at the school just two months prior, insisted she tried to steer the class back to A Christmas Carol when things got out of hand.

The panel determined her actions clearly fell short of professional expectations. Ms Matthews has been barred from teaching, with a prohibition in place until she can apply for the order to be lifted in two years. She expressed that managing the classroom dynamic was challenging and that these conversations made her uncomfortable. However, her claims that students conspired against her weren’t enough to sway the decision.
