🚨 Drama on the Road to Wembley! 🚨
Hull City’s journey to the Championship play-off final was anything but smooth. Just as the excitement builds for their biggest clash against Middlesbrough, chaos broke out when the team bus was attacked. Stones and bottles were reportedly hurled at the vehicle while it was en route to pick up the players from their hotel, leaving one of the windows shattered. 🚍💥
But despite this setback, the team remained unfazed and continued their journey to Wembley Stadium, ready to battle it out for that coveted spot in the Premier League. 💪⚽️
This incident is just the latest twist in a week already filled with upheaval, thanks to the fallout from the Championship’s ‘Spygate’ scandal. Southampton, initially part of the play-offs, were expelled following allegations of illegal filming of rival teams’ training sessions. They’ll also face a four-point penalty next season.
The EFL settled the dust by confirming a 3.30pm kick-off time for today’s crucial match. So, buckle up and get ready for an epic showdown. The winner takes it all—who’s your money on? 🏆🔜
