Remember that gran whose “no teeth” video had everyone giggling a few years back? She’s back, and this time she didn’t forget the Welsh cakes! 🥳

Michelle Watkinson stole the show in 2022 when, during a visit to Holyhead Lifeboat Station, she offered to babysit the royal kids but hilariously warned: “I’ve got no teeth!” That moment went viral and now, three years later, she had a delightful reunion with Prince William in Colwyn Bay. This time, she came prepared with the promised Welsh cakes and a charming Welsh Christmas book for his children. 📚🎂

The Prince recognised her immediately, with a warm smile, and they shared a chuckle about learning Welsh. When asked how it was going, his cheeky response was, “Hmmmm average.” 😂 Michelle wasn’t short of advice though, offering him tips on learning the language.
Michelle’s daughter, Molly, shared how thrilled her mum was at being remembered and how they chatted about everything from the Welsh language to parenting in the digital age. Apparently, William even teased her about flirting! 😄
Another local, Angela Jones, got a surprise hug from the Prince and described him as genuinely pleasant and much taller than she’d imagined!
Prince William’s visit wasn’t just about catching up with famous locals. He explored the fantastic work of the Marine Conservation Society’s Youth Ocean Network and Youth Shedz in Mochdre, soaking up stories of young people making waves in their communities. 🌊 He even found time for a comedy workshop and a peek at the goodies in a tuck shop supporting youth initiatives.
Under the crisp winter sunshine, Prince William had meaningful chats with young volunteers and congratulated them on their dedication to marine conservation. It’s fair to say, he left with more than just Welsh cakes; he also took away inspiration from some of North Wales’ brightest young minds.
What a day in North Wales! 🌟 Keep an eye out for more feel-good stories from around the UK.
