🎶 Noise Turns Neighbour Nightmare in Neyland! 🎶

Meet Beryl John, the pensioner who rocked her tranquil Welsh coastal town… but not in a good way! Residents of Gothic Road, Neyland, found themselves caught in a whirlwind of loud tunes as Beryl cranked up the volume despite numerous pleas to pipe down. 😱

The saga unfolded when the local council started raking in noise complaints and decided enough was enough. Armed with recordings from a nifty app designed to catch sound offenders, council officers confirmed that Beryl’s music was turning harmony into havoc.
Initially handed a Community Protection Warning in hopes she’d tone it down, Beryl’s next move was to turn up the heat—both with her music and her attitude. Not only did she keep blasting tunes, but she also managed to ruffle feathers further by being abusive to council and Dyfed-Powys Police officers. 🚨
With Beryl showing no signs of stopping, the situation escalated to a Community Protection Notice. Ignoring this as well, she faced the music in court, although she decided not to show up! 🎼💼
The outcome? A whopping £1,000 fine, a £400 victim surcharge, and £1,000 in costs for our elderly sound enthusiast.
Pembrokeshire County Council vowed to protect residents’ peace and quiet, indicating they’re not afraid to seek serious legal remedies if this disruptive behaviour continues.
Let’s hope this serves as a wake-up call and our tuneful troublemaker will swap her blasting beats for some blissful peace soon. 🤞
