🚨 Tragic Incident in Bradford 🚨
A heartbreaking incident unfolded on Harrogate Road in Bradford, where a 77-year-old woman was struck by an HGV. The situation worsened when her body was tragically dragged over three miles to Neville Road in East Bowling.
West Yorkshire Police have taken a 55-year-old man into custody on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been bailed as more inquiries are underway. Our thoughts are with the grieving family during this difficult time, with specially trained officers providing support.
Detective Inspector Paul Conroy shared: “This is an extremely upsetting incident involving an elderly pedestrian in Bradford.” Police are urging anyone who was in the area or has dashcam footage of the incident to come forward.
