🚨 Major Incident at M&S Charlton! 🚨
This morning, a major incident was declared at the M&S store on Gallions Road, Charlton, following reports of a carbon monoxide leak. Emergency services rushed to the scene at 9.32 am, and at least 35 people are currently being treated for carbon monoxide poisoning.
James Johnson from the London Ambulance Service confirmed that numerous resources, including the Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) and Advanced Paramedic Practitioners, have been deployed to manage the situation. Local councillor David Gardner has advised residents to steer clear of the area while the three emergency services are in attendance.
