Darts sensation Luke Littler pulled at the heartstrings of fans during a recent live TV interview after his triumphant Premier League Darts win. The young star, known as The Nuke, couldn’t hold back the tears as he opened up about the emotional rollercoaster he’s been on.
Despite clinching the prestigious title for the second time, Littler revealed he’s faced a tough ride over the past few months, battling unfriendly crowd reactions for the first time in his blossoming career. It got so challenging that he even considered stepping away from the game for good.
During the candid interview with Sky Sports, Littler shared how he struggled, especially during a rough patch when his performance dipped in Brighton. He said, “I was sat at home telling Faith, ‘I don’t want to do it anymore, the crowd every week… I’m down bad.'”
But with determination and resilience, Littler fought back, defeating Luke Humphries in an epic final that’s being hailed as one of the best in Premier League history. The victory was a hard-fought battle, and his emotion is a testament to the pressures and sacrifices faced by players on the road for weeks without family.
