🏉 Big news for TV and rugby fans! Former England rugby legend Joe Marler might be swapping scrums for spandex! The charismatic prop, famous for his cheeky personality and sports prowess, is reportedly in talks to join the cast of the BBC’s iconic show, Gladiators! 👀
After retiring from rugby in 2024, Marler has kept the excitement alive off the pitch too. He’s been wooing audiences with his humour and quirky style, making it to the final of the BBC show Celebrity Traitors and hosting his own podcast, “Joe Marler Will See You Now,” where he quizzes celebrity guests as an unqualified psychologist. Imagine the fun on the Gladiators arena with Marler in the mix! 🤸♂️
The Sun suggests Joe is set to tackle this new challenge, bringing his perfect mix of muscle and mischief to the show later this year. It’s not 100% confirmed, but if it happens, he could be the most buzzworthy Gladiator since swimmer Sharron Davies in 1995! 💪
Ever the candid character, Joe has admitted he’s been “winging it” since retirement, just like he did in his rugby days. Lucky for him, and us fans, his spontaneous approach seems to be a winning formula! Stay tuned as this story unfolds—will Marler indeed take up the Gladiator gauntlet? Only time will tell! 🗓️
