π Exciting times for the Scarlets! π

The Scarlets are making big moves for next season by bringing in former England prop Boris Stankovich as the new scrum coach! After a challenging season, changes are in full swing to turn things around in Llanelli. Nigel Davies looks likely to remain as interim director of rugby while they bring fresh talent to the coaching team.
Eamon O’Carroll, from St Helens, will step in as the new defence coach, replacing former British and Irish Lion Jared Payne. With these changes, the Scarlets are gearing up for a comeback! πͺ

Stankovich, aged 46, comes with an impressive coaching history. Heβs previously worked with Leicester, Canada, Russia and even had spells at Toulon and Edinburgh before joining England as a forward coach. Although the club considered Richard Cockerill for the role, it seems Stankovich is the man for the job!

Meanwhile, former Wales full-back Liam Williams is enjoying his time at the club and is hinting at a future in coaching. It looks like he might be sticking around next season. “I definitely want to get into coaching,” Liam shared on Scrum V, after being welcomed back by the Scarlets post-retirement.
Here’s to an exciting new era for the Scarlets! π€ Keep your eyes peeled for more updates on their journey back to glory! ππ₯
