🌿 Exciting times ahead for the Welsh Wildlife Centre! 🌿

The beautiful Welsh Wildlife Centre near Cardigan is set for a stunning makeover. After being battered by storms, a new timber-framed shelter is on the cards, and it’s going to be a real game-changer.
Thanks to Pembrokeshire planners giving the thumbs up, visitors can soon enjoy a brand new picnic spot crafted with traditional techniques and locally-sourced wood. Imagine relaxing under a structure built with love for nature, using mortise and tenon joinery and wooden pegs instead of modern fixtures. It’s all about preserving that authentic rural charm and fitting right in with the stunning Teifi Marshes.

But that’s not all—this spot is more than just a shelter. Nestled close to a recently approved play area, it’s going to be the perfect pit stop during your adventure. With nature trails, birdwatching hides, and even a self-catering cottage nearby, there’s something for everyone.

Nature lovers, get ready for a unique experience at the fourth largest Wildlife Trust in the UK, which also oversees much of Wales’ stunning coastline, including the islands of Skomer and Skokholm.
Whether you’re keen to explore the breathtaking surroundings or simply want to sip a coffee in the on-site café, the centre offers a true taste of Welsh wildlife at its best.
So pack your picnic and keep an eye out for the new changes. We can’t wait to welcome you to a wilder, greener space! 🌳🦉
