🏉 Exciting rugby showdown alert! Cardiff is gearing up to face Benetton in a massive Challenge Cup last 16 battle at Italy’s Stadio Monigo this Saturday evening. Despite an injury-hit squad, the Blue and Blacks are determined to secure victory and set up a thrilling quarter-final encounter against the Exeter Chiefs.
Key player updates: Alex Mann is back on the field after his Six Nations spell, and Irish prop Ed Byrne is making his much-anticipated season debut. But that’s not all! Wales hooker Evan Lloyd steps up to cover the back-row from the bench due to a pile-up of injuries. Unfortunately, the anticipated return of Wales wing Josh Adams has been postponed, and they’re missing five senior second-rows. With Rory Thornton as the only fit senior lock, academy talent Evan Rees steps up to start alongside him.
