Exciting news for Treharris! A brand new bakery and coffee shop might soon be part of Bargoed Terrace, bringing delightful aromas of freshly baked goods and hot coffee to the town. Plans have been submitted to the Merthyr Tydfil Council to transform the ground floor of a local property into this charming new spot while converting the first floor into a cosy one-bedroom flat.
The proposal aims to maintain the vibrant commercial vibe of the area, contributing positively to local business and foot traffic. And don’t worry, access to the flat will be independent, thanks to a nifty new rear stairway! The plans are designed to harmonise with the existing building and the surrounding street scene, located just a skip away from Treharris town centre and the bus station.
Whether you’re a resident or a visitor, this addition is poised to enhance the local landscape, blending seamlessly with nearby shops and services and benefiting from excellent public transport links. Treharris, are you ready for some delicious changes? Let us know your thoughts below! 🍰☕️
