🏉 Big Day for Welsh Rugby Fans: Wales vs Japan Showdown! 🏉

Today, it’s Wales against Japan at the iconic Principality Stadium in a crucial autumn international clash! This isn’t just another game; it’s make-or-break for our world rankings with the Rugby World Cup draw looming.

Wales needs a win to hold onto the 12th spot in the world rankings, ensuring a better seed in future tournaments. A loss could make the path to the 2027 Rugby World Cup significantly tougher, potentially landing us in a dreaded “group of death.”
Coach Steve Tandy has shaken things up with four changes to the starting lineup. Fans will be thrilled to see Louis Rees-Zammit back starting in Test rugby after two years. We’ll also see Olly Cracknell in action at number eight, with front-row appearances from Nicky Smith and Archie Griffin. Alex Mann steps into the openside flanker role, as Aaron Wainwright takes on the number six position.
Kick-off is set for 5.40pm, and you can catch all the live action on TNT Sports or enjoy Welsh language coverage on S4C.
Here’s the Wales lineup:
– Blair Murray; Louis Rees-Zammit, Max Llewellyn, Ben Thomas, Josh Adams;
– Dan Edwards, Tomos Williams;
– Nicky Smith, Dewi Lake (captain), Archie Griffin;
– Dafydd Jenkins, Adam Beard;
– Aaron Wainwright, Alex Mann, Olly Cracknell
Replacements include Liam Belcher, Rhys Carre, Keiron Assiratti, and more seasoned players ready to make their mark.
Cheer for our boys and let’s hope for a triumphant day at the Principality! 🏟️💪
