🚂 New Beginnings for Bridgend’s Old Railway Site! 🏠

Exciting news from Bridgend as a former disused railway site is being transformed into a vibrant community hub! 🚧 The Valleys to Coast Housing Association has kicked off construction on 21 energy-efficient homes in Kenfig Hill, offering a mix of one-bedroom flats, and two-, three-, and four-bedroom houses. Perfect for meeting diverse local housing needs!

This project isn’t just about new homes—it’s a community revival 🌳. With £40,000 earmarked for local education improvements and £20,000 for enhanced recreation facilities, it’s a win for everyone. Funded by the Welsh Government, and in partnership with Bridgend County Borough Council, the development promises to breathe new life into the area, bringing ecological benefits and investing in infrastructure.
Slated for completion by the end of 2027, this initiative will turn the brownfield site into a community asset, blending modern design with sustainable living. Big shoutout to P&P Builders for leading the construction works! 🛠️
Rob Green, Director at Valleys to Coast, is thrilled about this regeneration, highlighting the importance of sustainability and enhancing local lives. Stay tuned as Bridgend takes a step towards a brighter, greener future! 🌿
