🚨 Tragic News from Abergavenny 🚨
We’re saddened to report that a person has sadly died at Abergavenny train station, prompting a major emergency response. British Transport Police and Gwent Police were called to the scene around 1pm following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
Unfortunately, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have confirmed that the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Due to this incident, train services have faced significant disruption. Trains between Newport (South Wales) and Hereford have been delayed or cancelled as emergency services manage the situation. Delays are expected to continue until 6pm today. Transport for Wales has issued apologies for the inconvenience and assured passengers that updates will follow.
