🚨 **Air Gun Attacks Leave Local Wildlife Injured and Killed** 🚨

Heartbreaking news from RSPCA Cymru highlights a worrying trend of air gun attacks on animals. Recently, a pigeon found on Charles Street had to be euthanised after being shot. The poor bird suffered severe injuries, with an X-ray revealing a shattered wing.
This disturbing case follows a similar incident in March in Hakin, where several cats were shot, resulting in one tragic death and three injuries. On April 24, an injured gull found in Troedyrhiw was shot and also had to be put to sleep.

Under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, it’s illegal to harm wild birds in the UK. Yet, the RSPCA receives nearly 1,000 calls annually regarding such attacks.
If you know anything about these incidents, please contact the RSPCA on 0300 123 8018, referencing incident number 01794965. Your information could help bring those responsible to justice. Together, let’s protect our precious wildlife and hold perpetrators accountable! 🕊️💔
