28-year-old John Lamont pulled a stunt no one expected when he exposed himself to a mother and daughter in Cemetery Park, Adamsdown. This all happened after he’d had a bit too much to drink, but that’s not all he’s been up to!

Before this incident, Lamont had a run-in with an ambulance – literally. He reversed into it while driving a Renault Arkana SUV that was taken without permission. The chaotic drive saw him mounting kerbs and crashing into bollards before his ride came to a grinding halt. All this happened because he reportedly refused to sober up or provide a breath test.

The court wasn’t too pleased to hear this, especially with Lamont’s 10 previous convictions! Even though his defence mentioned his tough background and recent family losses, it wasn’t enough to keep him out of jail. Recorder Paul Lewis KC labelled Lamont’s drinking an aggravating factor, not a mitigating one, and sentenced him to 16 months behind bars.

What comes next for Lamont after his time is up? Only time will tell. Meanwhile, Cardiff residents are left shaking their heads in disbelief at this series of dangerous antics. Stay safe out there, folks!
