🚨 URGENT ALERT for Brits Abroad! 🚨
The Foreign Office has issued a crucial warning for all British nationals currently in Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE: seek shelter immediately! 🚨 Following a series of missile strikes in the Middle East, it’s essential to stay indoors and keep safe. Remain in a secure location and follow instructions from local authorities.
The situation flared early Saturday when US and Israeli forces launched pre-emptive strikes against Iran, worried about its nuclear ambitions. This has led to a tense escalation, with Iran retaliating and the Foreign Office advising against all travel to Israel.
To add to the chaos, a flight from Birmingham to Doha had to turn back, disrupting travel plans. Please check with airlines if you’re planning to fly.
The UK government emphasises it wasn’t involved in these strikes and is focused on preventing a wider conflict. There’s a call for diplomatic solutions to ease tensions and ensure safety. 🇬🇧
Our thoughts are with everyone affected, and we urge all Brits in the region to follow the advice carefully. Stay informed and take all necessary precautions.
Stay safe, everyone! 🙏
