⚽ Transfer Drama Alert! 🚨
Football fans, there’s a thrilling transfer saga unfolding! Former Wales captain Aaron Ramsey has taken up the reins as head coach at Oxford United, and he’s got his eye on a reunion. Ramsey is reportedly eager to bring Ryan Wintle, his former midfield partner at Cardiff City, to the Kassam Stadium.
After departing Cardiff earlier this summer, Wintle has become a hot commodity, drawing interest from none other than Leicester City. Fancy that! Both clubs are vying for his signature to boost their squads for the upcoming League One campaign.
Remember the name, Ryan Wintle! This midfield dynamo was pivotal at Cardiff, even earning the titles of Player of the Year and Supporters’ Player of the Year after a cracking promotion season. Wintle made his mark with 163 appearances for the Bluebirds since joining from Crewe in 2021.
But Wintle’s next move is still up in the air. Leicester, fresh from relegation, are looking to shake things up in their midfield ranks, which already boasts talents like Harry Winks and Hamza Choudhury. Will it be Leicester or Oxford that snags this star player?
