🏉 **Mat Protheroe Returns Home!** 🏉
Exciting news for Welsh rugby fans! Mat Protheroe, the dynamic former Ospreys back, is back where it all started. After finishing a brief stint with Bristol Bears, the 29-year-old has rejoined his boyhood club, Waunarlwydd RFC. He’s set to dazzle fans once more on the pitches where he first caught the eye.
Mat has had an incredible journey, beginning his rugby career with Waunarlwydd as just a youngster. His talent saw him move to Gloucester, then Bristol Bears, before an impressive run with Ospreys. He even made waves in New Zealand, playing for Hawke’s Bay. But now, he’s back in Wales and ready to pull on the green and black kit again!

Mat will be playing full-back for Waunarlwydd RFC as they take on Lampeter this Saturday. The match kicks off at 2.30pm at Roseland Road. It’s a mid-table clash you won’t want to miss!
