πββοΈ Incredible Feat at 48! πββοΈ

Shane Williams, the Welsh rugby legend, has proven age is just a number! At his first Cardiff Half Marathon, Shane smashed his personal record with a time of 1 hour, 33 minutes, and 37 seconds. This inspiring feat comes just weeks after completing his eighth Ironman in Tenby. π

Despite hanging up his rugby boots nearly 11 years ago, Shane’s fitness levels are extraordinary. Running alongside over 29,000 participants, Shane showed he’s still got it, finishing 1,435th overall while raising funds for Velindre, Noah’s Ark, and Joseph’s Smile. π

Shane wasnβt the only former pro on the track! Fellow ex-Wales wing Alex Cuthbert also made his mark, finishing mere seconds ahead, all while supporting Prostate Cymru. Alex described the race as the hardest thing heβd ever done, crediting the sheer energy from the crowd for propelling him across the finish line. πββοΈπ¨
Meanwhile, Welsh cyclist Dani Rowe flew through the course in an impressive 1 hour, 28 minutes, and 30 seconds, securing a spot among the top 1,300 runners. π΄ββοΈ
