🏉 Wales Rugby fans, listen up! The buzz around the Six Nations is in full swing, and Sam Warburton is sharing his excitement over five standout Welsh players making waves this season! 🌊
Warburton’s thrilled with Daf Jenkins, who has been stepping into the shoes of legend Alun Wyn Jones like a pro! Jenkins isn’t alone; Dewi Lake, Rhys Carre, Alex Mann, and Aaron Wainwright are raising their game as well. Warburton’s noticed how past regimes overlooked Carre, but his carrying skills are now giving Wales that front-five edge!
Not stopping there, Warburton is impressed with the emerging partnership between Scarlets’ Joe Hawkins and Eddie James in the centre. The duo is showing the potential Wales has been searching for since Jamie Roberts and Hadleigh Parkes’ era. Hawkins is making a name for himself after a challenging start at Exeter, and paired with James, he’s proving unstoppable! 💪
Warburton’s excitement isn’t just about the present; he’s looking to the future! With young talents like Louie Hennessey and Louis Rees-Zammit preparing to burst onto the scene, the team’s athletic profile is nothing short of spectacular. Imagine these players, a few years older and with more caps, poised to dominate international rugby.
As Wales heads into their final Six Nations match against Italy with growing confidence, fans are daring to dream of victory. After a tough-fought battle against giants like Scotland and Ireland, could this be the turning point? Even BBC pundits wouldn’t find it surprising if Wales snatched a win!
