Exciting news for Cardiff! The old Co-op on Crwys Road is getting a fabulous makeover. The eyesore that’s been vacant since 2021 will transform into 60 brand new council homes, a bustling community centre, and even some handy retail space on the ground floor.
Approved in 2025, this ambitious redevelopment project aims to tackle Cardiff’s housing challenges and deliver more affordable homes. Expect 28 cosy one-bed apartments and 32 spacious two-bed flats — perfect for singles and small families! The council is keen to push this forward, aiming to complete everything by summer 2028.
