Exciting news in the rugby world! 🎉 Former Wales international, Tyler Morgan, is embarking on a new chapter as he joins the French third-tier side, Nissa Rugby. At 30, Morgan is making this bold move after his stint with Biarritz, where he played 59 matches and scored nine tries. Unfortunately sidelined due to an ankle injury in December, he’s set to bring his skills and experience to Nissa next month.

The club, formerly known as Stade Nicois, is in fierce contention for promotion, currently topping the Nationale table. Morgan’s arrival is seen as a major boost for their campaign to climb back into Pro D2. He’ll be joining fellow Welshman Owen Williams and former Wales U20s assistant Gareth Baber, who is now head coach at Nissa.

Morgan made quite a splash when he debuted for Wales at just 19, even making it to the Rugby World Cup quarter-final against South Africa back in 2015. Although his path through international rugby didn’t unfold as expected due to various injuries, he’s clearly embraced his opportunities abroad. After his move from the Scarlets in 2022, Tyler expressed his excitement about the adventure, eager to break out of “the Welsh bubble” and explore new horizons.

This move could be the fresh start he’s been looking for, and all eyes will be on him as he brings a dash of Welsh flair to the French rugby circuit. 🌟🏉 Keep an eye out for the latest updates and join the Nissa Rugby supporters as they cheer their team on in this thrilling season! 💪🎌
