🚗💥 Fueled by Panic? 💥🛍️
A jaw-dropping video has gone viral, showing a woman filling plastic shopping bags with petrol and placing them unsealed in her car boot! 😳 With over 10 million views, the clip has sparked outrage as the UK experiences a surge in fuel prices amid tension in the Middle East. 🌍⛽
As oil prices skyrocket due to disruptions, Brits are flocking to petrol stations in panic. While many are feeling the pressure at the pump, one woman’s desperate attempt to stockpile fuel left onlookers both astounded and amused. Using Sainsbury’s bags, she made quite the spectacle. Comments swiftly poured in online, questioning her actions: “Sainsbury’s shopping bags? At least use a jerry can!”
Fuel costs have jumped significantly, with diesel prices reaching 181.2p per litre and petrol at 152p. 🚙💨 The RAC is urging drivers to use the myRAC app to find the best deals, while reassuring the public that despite the rising costs, a fuel shortage is unlikely. 📉
The Middle Eastern conflict has led to the effective blocking of the Strait of Hormuz, a critical oil trade route, further intensifying the situation. But experts believe supply to the UK will continue, even if prices remain on the rise. 🛢️
Let’s hope cooler heads prevail and people opt for jerry cans next time! What do you think – overreaction or just plain unsafe? Let’s hear your thoughts! 🙋♂️🔊
