Cardiff’s dreams of securing a spot in the United Rugby Championship play-offs hit a snag after a tough night in Glasgow! The Blue and Blacks fell 40-17 to the Glasgow Warriors, who dominated the match with flair and force.

The Warriors set the tone early with tries from Jack Dempsey and Kyle Steyn. Cardiff’s Josh Adams managed to pull one back, but a series of powerful moves saw Glasgow stretch their lead further with Johnny Matthews and Patrick Schickerling touching down, along with a spectacular try from Kyle Rowe.

Despite Cardiff’s gritty efforts, including tries from Danny Southworth and Jacob Beetham, they couldn’t close the gap, leaving them just short of a bonus point.
The team now faces a crucial face-off against the Stormers at the Arms Park. With their play-off hopes still alive but faint, Cardiff fans will be eagerly watching to see if their team can bounce back. Fingers crossed for a strong comeback next Friday night!
