Tiger Woods is taking a break from golf to focus on his health after a recent car crash in Florida. Following his arrest on suspicion of driving under the influence, the legendary golfer revealed plans to “seek treatment” and prioritise his well-being. Woods, who turns 50 soon, assured fans he’s committed to returning stronger and healthier in the future.

After the crash, Woods was charged with DUI and released on bail. He pleaded not guilty and requested a jury trial. Despite passing an alcohol breathalyser test, Woods admitted to taking prescription medications earlier that day. No illegal drugs were found.

He’s openly acknowledged the gravity of the situation, noting he was distracted at the time of the accident. Both Woods and the driver of the other vehicle were unhurt. In his statement, Woods expressed gratitude for public support and requested privacy for his loved ones during this time.
