Due to the upcoming Spring bank holiday on Monday, 25th May, benefit payments that would typically land on that day will be paid earlier. Expect to see your money on Friday, 22nd May instead. 💷

This adjustment applies to payments like Universal Credit, Child Benefit, and Personal Independence Payment (PIP). Even some State Pension payments might be affected. So, keep an eye on your account to ensure everything goes smoothly.

HMRC has also confirmed that some tax-related payments usually due on 25th May will also come in on the 22nd. So, whether it’s DWP or HMRC payments, be ready a little earlier this time.

🌞 Following this bank holiday, there won’t be another in England and Wales until August. For our friends in Scotland, mark 15th June, and in Northern Ireland, you’ll see one on 13th July.

Stay in the loop and double-check your payment schedule to avoid any surprises! Feel free to share this info with anyone who might benefit from it. 👍
