Both B&Q and Screwfix have stressed the importance of stopping the use of these boots immediately if they’re from the affected batches. They come with specific barcodes and batch codes. If you bought any of these recently, bring them back to the store with your order reference number for a full refund.

– B&Q: Dark Brown sizes 8, 9, 10, and 11
– Screwfix: Sizes 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12
These boots were sold between November 2022 and November 2025. Not sure where your batch number is? Check on the boot’s tongue or the shoebox. No other batches are involved, so make sure to double-check yours before heading back to the store.
